The birth of Dear Mama Mail

The past few years of releasing music and sharing my story have allowed me to meet so many moms who are also on the special needs parenting journey. It’s been an honour and privilege to hear their experiences of struggle and hope, and the more stories I hear the more I’m in awe of mothers! Their fierce love and dedication is unmatched.

As a mom parenting two boys with Tourette Syndrome, I’ve been reminded that we may be dealing with different diagnoses, but we are facing similar things. I am in the same boat, often struggling with feelings of isolation and wishing someone “got it”. I know how loneliness and despair can flood in quickly when you don’t have support. Hearing something at the right time can be so encouraging!

The more I’ve been made aware of the struggles other moms are also facing, the more I want to help and encourage them. While I can’t show up on everyone’s door step with a treat and a hug, I can show up in their mailboxes every month, with a timely word of support and understanding.

If you haven’t yet heard the exciting news, we are about to launch a brand-new monthly subscription for special needs moms - Dear Mama Mail.

Dear Mama Mail is a mail subscription for special needs moms, offering a monthly card of encouragement that meets them right where they are and reminds them they're never alone.

My marketing team and I had initially tossed around the idea of a monthly subscription for moms at the start of the pandemic, and I had set it aside in the chaos. As time has gone on, I’ve realized what a support this could actually mean to moms everywhere, and I realized it was finally time to make it happen.

I’m so grateful for this unique way to remind moms every month how important they are, and how much they mean to their family. How valuable their love and intuition is in their child’s life, how brave and strong they are, and how their life is an example to the world of what perseverance and true unconditional love looks like.

Maybe you are also on this journey and have been for quite some time.

Maybe you have a child that was just diagnosed and that’s how you found me.

Maybe you have a friend or family member who is walking this road.

I’d love to invite you to visit the new website to learn more, and sign up below to be notified when we’re live!
